SCAM. I am listing this unknown, to me, number as a scam number because it only rang a few times and cut off without leaving a message. I do not know anyone from Whitehaven either. If they don't leave a message best to ignore the call and consider it suspicious!

Received this morning on my mobile. A female voice, probably recorded said "I have been told that you were involved in an accident recently, is that right?" Obviously this a phishing call. Best to ignore and hang up.

Pre recorded voice message stating that £900 was being spent online and I needed to press 1 to cancel/stop the payment. Claimed it was Visa. Fake call, did not press 1 to reply. Be careful. I did check online to my bank afterwards. No payment pending. Scam call.

WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
