Keeps calling my number but usually no one is there when I answer. Just a long period of silence and then the call is ended. Very annoying and probably upsetting for some people. I have spoken to them in the past and said I was not interested but it has not deterred them from calling again and again.

Then because its a landline number ... you are DUPED into calling THEM! ...& go to landline & ring THEM! This then means "they have not broken the telephone preference rules!!....WHY YOU ASK???? Once you are thru a very rough female voice with American accent is repeatedly (since I don't say a word) asking to identify yourself. Calling back the number doesn't work. Location origin of the call is supposed to be central London but I very much doubt it.
