Indian sounding phishing type call
Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.
They were using scare tactics about x amounts being taken from our credit cards etc

when is this system going to be updated to cope with the fact that displayed and 1471 numbers are not reliable? This number called me at 09:30 on a bank holiday and followed the usual fake call centre routine of no-one there to start with then suddenly burst into life (and I hung up beofre hearing what they had to say). I don't believe for one minute it was the genuine BFM office, they would have no reason to phone me even during normal working hours. Faked number!

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. using this UK Number +443308181627 calling to Germany and using this number; a woman with a heavy Indian accent tried to engage us in a conversation under the pretense of doing some kind of 'research' - probably sell something afterwards. Be aware!
Called about 20 times from 8am on a Sunday morning to around 9am on the Monday morning. BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. Add this number to your block lists
