Received a call from this number very noisy background, asked if I had claimed my PPI refund which on average would be about £2200. I told the caller I did not have this insurance she said I didn't understand, I would have had it as the Banks hid the protection. I told her that it must have been detailed in paperwork for it to have been charged again she told me it wouldn't as it was hidden. I explained to her that I definitely did not have PPI but she was insistent that I would have had it. I've blocked se

Chap with an Asian accent (Indian, Pakistani possibly). Knew my full name which concerned me. Said he was calling from "Credit Investigation Department" and that his records show I was currently paying off debts in my name (false). Told him to politely bugger off and remove my number from whatever database he was using. Complained to TPS.

I applied for a boiler and got few replies yesterday. I left my mobile number. It s the only way anyone could have got my number within last few days. Insurance/Spam suspected. UK Caller dialled my Swiss mobile and purported to be working on a survey for Swiss government that would take about 1 minute. I was then asked about car and life insurance, so left the call after about 2 minutes and before the 'survey' was completed.
