Advised me that I d been in an accident (which I had not) I advised him to go fornicate himself. He said that they d be taking me to court for abusive language. I pointed out that they were trying to scam me and they should not be phoning TPS listed numbers. Pure scum, I feel sorry for anybody who gets caught by their lies and scams. Please do your duty as I have and report them to the ICO and also the TPS scheme.
Had a text from this number at 2:30 am saying I was subscribed to WopWappy. My ee account has been billed £9 in total for two texts from this number so I asked ee to block third party charges on my account but I wont be getting my 9 quid back as I have to contact the company who billed me for that WopWappy. This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H
