This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported (01244470043, 44,45), all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly as PPI offers and pensions (financial services). A scam call from “ Inside Revenue” trying to glean tax information. The foreign sounding man said he could help with claiming the marriage allowance! I told him that as I worked for HMRC anyone who claims the marriage allowance simply has to tick a box on their tax return and there is no need for any interference from a company calling themselves “Inside Revenue”. My advice is give no information and block the number.
