Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
This number sent me an OTP number for a purchase I didn’t make. Checked with bank - it’s fraudulent.

Spencer from The Energy Support Hub on 02922 229968 called me today. A sales scam as far as I am concerned. Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. This is probably a cloned number! I received call from this number on my landline. It was a scam call (live not recorded) purporting to be from BT internet about my internet line. I do not subscribe to any BT products, therefore considered it to be a scam. Could hear background noise as per a call centre.
This number has called constantly the past few days, always on my mobile first and when I don't answer that, they ring my landline, straight away. No message is ever left, really annoying. I've now blocked the number on both my mobile and my landline - if it's important they should have left a message, so I can only assume it's a scam or aggressive sales.
