I just got called by a bloke from this number basically asking details of an accident I had and trying to "get me a second cheque" for personal injuries. He didnt want to answer any of my questions and eventually hung up.

Text Message claimed to be from Halifax requesting to verify device. I do not use halifax banking, likely phishing.

He said he was from BT and my router had downloaded several viruses. Please would I log on to my computer

They have just called and asked me to confirm all of my details. When I asked which ones they had, I didn't get an answer!! Apparently I have a prepaid electricity meter (no I don't) and they can save me money by installing their own.. No company name but

Fraud - They seem to be from HMRC for 'Criminal investigation'.

Pretending to be from BT, warning I had been hacked and wanting to have access to my computer.

Fake txt message from HSBC.

Called me at 20:50 on a Thursday night claiming to be HSBC wanting to speak to my 8 week old son. So I very much doubt it was HSBC.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case this range of numbers 017936290xx is mostly reported in connection with Accident claims company, insurance marketing, block it. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers

Man called with indian type accent and with lots of call centre noise in the background called twice today. Said he was from BT .I said why are you ringing me then because I'm not with B.T. he then said'' Why are you lying to me?'' and hung up obviously one of the scams.

This number has been calling me 3 times a day for a week now. I pick up the phone and no body speaks then the phone goes dead. Getting really annoying as when I try to call back to tell them to take me off there lists number says its not in service! N

This number called 3 times on Monday and again 8.45am today. We have already told them we Know it is a scam,but still they ring.

03 Asians claimed I had a serious fault with my computor and they would fix it. Clearly liar.

Just recieved a call from this number. Automated voise message saying they are from "HMRC" and apparently I have a "tax fraud case against my name" and I'm to press 1 to be connected to the officer dealing with the case. Failure to press 1 or if the call does not connect will mean "I will be arrested shortly. Definitely did not press 1!

I received a letter from euro millions saying i had one £580 thousand GBP. Contact Joseph Larson by 18th May 2018. Gold Coast 2018 stamp in corner of the letter. SCAM ARTISTS do not call them
