This number is supposed to be the Parkingeye head office number who you call to pay a parking fine, but is it, or is it a scam ???? DOES ANYONE KNOW PLEASE. I have read a lot about these people being scammers, but would appreciate it if someone could qualify my thoughts please. Thanking you in advance.

PRESS 1 to cancel transfer " - This is the SCAM. - Most will panic and do as informed. - This will take them further into the SCAM. - I ended the call. - I called back and a (bot) stated "LEAVE VOICE MAIL" - I left and explicative #@!!@### and put the phone down. If the 'owener' wants to take me to court - FINE... lets go.

This number called us at 11.30 pm and 4:30am this morning...no need for it!!
SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

Well this was interesting! 028 4067 1515 (Banbury) just rang, it is Saturday at 10:55am. I did a quick google while the phone was ringing and came up with the Anglers Rest pub in Banbridge. Weird (I have no connection to the area) but seemingly legit. When I picked up, the caller said he was calling from Currys/PCWorld with a cheap mobile phone offer. I said I don't need a new phone and he said thanks and ended the call. The whole "using a legit number" is hella sneaky!!

Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. The caller ID showed metro dry cleaners but the caller said they were from carphone warehouse calling about a 'special promotion'. He said he got my number 'from the database'. Hung up and googled the number, possibly a scam using a legitimate business number

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

This is a mobile number, supposedly from Natwest Fraud department. Its a scam. The map linked to this shows an area south of Glasgow, but marked Moscow.
