Asian caller, asking for me by name. From company "Choice UK" Wanted to do a survey. When I started to ask him questions about this company he hung up. Delay at the start of the call suggests it came from overseas but number is a Birminham uk. number.
They keep saying that they are from Microsoft and that our internet has been compromised. They say that they will disconnect your internet within the next 24 hours.

Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

I missed 2 calls from this number. Unsolicited calls, at around 1pm or 2pm on consecutive days. Having "Googled" the number I discovered the origin. I will not answer the calls now I am aware of the origin. As I am in Portugal for a holiday, this could be very expensive if I answered the calls.

Man asking me to pay a speeding fine, apparently I was doing 51 in a 50 zone. Asked him if he could correspond through the proper channels by writing to me. He asked me if I could prove I hadn't been speeding, so I countered by asking him to prove I had. He told me I couldn't drive then told me to "come to the courthouse and put in a complaint" before hanging up. Such a nuisance when you're waiting for important calls!
