I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!

Recorded message saying suspicious payments made and someone had used my card on Amazon for £300, hung up before the end of the message.

Amazon SCAM call phishing for your details. Automated call, apparently from “Amazon” saying I had placed an order to be delivered to a different address to mine for £749.00. The activity was suspicious so blocked my account. Logged into my Amazon account using the official app and there is no such activity.

Unsure wat type of call this was - I answered and there was no response, went dead 3 seconds later. Tried calling back, number is dead. Data gathering scam is my suspicion as I was duped into subscribing to something last week and I've had a million spam emails since.

Fraud SCAM referred to a non-existing Amazon purchase for £400 and then stated that a new purchase for £959 may be fraudulent and to follow their instructions. Checked there was no purchase showing fro £959 and furthermore the caller ID not say which bank was involved!!

Had a call from this number purporting to be an energy supplier. Hung up and then Googled the number and saw this site, as well as the site below on the search results from a news article stating to get a refund on a cancelled cruise to contact ABTA on this number. Something obviously isn't right with it, so blocked it and advise anyone else to do the same.

Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
