Knew my name and address tried to persuade me to claim PPI on credit cards. They would not tell me how they got my details! and then were very aggressive by saying if i didn t do it then red star would get to keep my money!! Poor tactics!!

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. 3-4 calls every day. Ring off if you attempt to complain. Premium rate to call them back what a load of plonkers. Seriously I agree with other comments about finding out who they are and giving them some of their own medicine it would serve them right to get sued for harassment.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Keeps calling my number but usually no one is there when I answer. Just a long period of silence and then the call is ended. Very annoying and probably upsetting for some people. I have spoken to them in the past and said I was not interested but it has not deterred them from calling again and again.

A very dubious sounding Rachel left a voicemail on our business number claiming to be from BT requesting an email address for our IT/Office Manager regarding our BT Internet update. We do not have BT Internet!! Yet another dodgy scam to avoid.
