Answered this call. I had money coming to me from somewhere but I said 'this is a scam, goodbye' and ended the call

Recorded messsage purporting to be BT saying line had been compromised. Dial 1 for more information. SCAM. The same message comes several times a day on occasions.

I believe this is due to previous calls when I have kept them on the line for 30 mins plus pretending to check my computer and blocking their attempts to try and do anything before informing them I have scammed them and dont actually have a computer.. and laughing loudly as they terminate the call with some abuse.. idiots

I receive 2 or 3 calls a day from this number - when I answer the line goes dead and as with Jon, if I try to call back the call doesn t connect.

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. I have had calls from this number, after a long conversation regarding data protection, I confirmed my address to discover it was for my previous address. The debt was from several years back that I thought was paid. This is not a scam, but people who are doing a job to get debt paid. You wouldn t walk into a shop and fill a trolley with goods and leave only paying for some of it. With debt we have either received the goods or service. Mine was for photos that I had forgot about
