I only entered the competition for the iPad because it came up on accuweather which I ve been using for a while and is a bona fide site. I then got a message saying I was now entered in a weekly draw for ?4.50 per week. I then received 3 messages which I was charged ?3.83 for. I ve sent a stop message to 88222 as advised but this is a complete con.

SCAM / SPAM the caller said they were from BT and had found a download fault with my computer and asked for remote access. He said his name was Adam but sounded like he was from a distant foreign country. When I accused him of running a scam he hung up. How rude :-)

When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. Fraud - Called pretending to be Carphone Warehouse offering cheap deals on phones. They ask for bank details and try to gather as much information from you as possible - not sure of the exact scam but no reputable company cold calls you.
