Claimed to be from “my local energy assessment team” !!!! This number originated in Bournemouth and I’m in Yorkshire, go figure! Scam scam scam.

calls morning and night repeatedly but then hangs up as soon as they suss that a human has answered rather than a machine.

tried my mobile 3 times but it was switched off.
nDid not leave a message or say who was calling

Rang me and introduced himself but could not hear because of voices in the background. Sounded like a call centre. When asked to repeat himself he hung up.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. Called today @ 10:46 by an indian woman advising she was calling from nationwide bank. She asked me to confirm my postcode. When i asked what the call was regarding she repeated where she was calling from & asked about my postcode. I asked again what it was regarding as i dont have an account with nationwide then the line went dead. I tried to call it back to see if genuine but came up as invalid number.
