I got an email asking me to ring this number regarding an overpayment on a car insurance policy from 2014. Thinking that it might be a scam I went online to find the customer services number for the company and rang them on that number not 0330 100 7303. It is a genuine email, they gave me my details correctly and then gave me my old bank account details. because I have changed my bank since 2014 they are sending me a cheque in the post instead. I keep receiving calls from this number despite blocking it - they sometimes phone up to five times a day! They always ask for Andrew, the idiot who must have mistyped his mobile number when downloading a report or who knows what from this "financial" crowd. I ve asked them politely to remove my number from their database ... to no avail. I ve said I m going to report them to the police if they keep calling me, which usually makes them put down the phone if I don t beat them to it!
Lots of background noise, said they were from EE and I was entitled to exclusive deals etc when I would give any of my details he said "is because you don t trust this no?" and immediately hung up on me.
