Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. The caller from this number got my father who said he would ned to get someone else to understand what he was talking about. When I picked up the phone the caller had hung up!! Apart from this being very rude, the number could not be called back on. No like!!

A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14138002xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing calls - Scottish Power, debts and loans... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
