Scam call about errors from Virgin internet! Usual crap!

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

I received an automated call about some money taken from my card. If I wanted to learn more press 1 they requested. The call was from Nakhichevan Russian Federation - I never had any connection with this part of world. Must be a fraud?!

SCAM States Santander passcode for argos fake scam number given.

Fed Ex scam. Haven’t even ordered anything. Picked up for 1 second and it ended, leaving a voicemail in both English and Chinese, saying something about 2 parcels and press different numbers for different enquiries, supposedly so your voicemail service calls them back when you press.

Apparently this number called me and claimed to be virgin media From a Bournemouth number! THIS IS A SCAM JUST CALLED BT OPERATOR 100; they called the number and it’s not obtainable Dummy number and a definitive SCAM

Banking scam. Recorded message alerting you to two payments supposedly made on your card and asking you to press 1 to speak to someone.

SCAM Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse on behalf of my mobile network provider EE... except I haven't used services from or even interacted in any way with either company in the past year.

Automated voice Said transactions had been made from my bank account and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to an advisor. Did neither I phoned my bank and no such transactions has been placed

They advise as Blockchain.com It seems scam

Said they were calling from O2 but I very much doubt it. Very poor English.

Called me about a loan as I had been applying for some so I answered first mistake They will tell you they have found a lender but you need to pay for a subscription for a credit company before they can send the payment This company will take your money and then reject your calls or hang up when they recognise your voice Please dont fall for this companies bs Only scammed out of 14 but it put me in a worse position I was in before they called so please be vigilant

Fraud, says they are from Virgin media but are not, wanted access to my lap top

Somehow knew my mobile phone network, offered me 30% discount and would transfer me to a supervisor. Did not mention my name or his. Scam. Number blocked. Do the same.

As per previous review this would appear to be a scam. Got exactly the same recorded message and hung up.

Received a text supposedly from Santander - avoid at all costs.

Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't specify which bank). 2 suspicious transactions, first for £700something by International transfer.... Gave up at this point and hung up as it's one of many we've had all very similar wording.

this company just phoned me. a lady with an accent told me i had a blockchain account. i said i would check online, she got irritated. i told her she was a scammer, she got more irritated. i put the phone down. Dont give these people any personal information.

Energy crisis scam. Do not answer block straight away!
