SCAM: I've probably received about 600+ calls from these people over the years. Indian call centre, claims to be from some official sounding company like UK energy services. They want a meter reading and your details to apply for government grants.

I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. Automated call warning of 2 bank card withdrawals - £300 on Amazon and £1100+ on an international service. Press 1 to allow and ... It's a scam. They don't identify who you are, who the bank is, the card number etc. It's to scare you into connecting with them and then confirming your bank details. If you have done this do an internet search for your bank fraud contact service and put a stop on your card/bank account IMMEDIATELY!
