Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. This website says it's an EE number but I don't get why they would say "Hi, there." with no reason of texting me, if anyone has any idea of who they might be, please tell me.

A scam call (standard visa dept suspicious payments scam) told me his name is Oliver Reed and I should call 02081447612 which he said was the number for "Nat West Anti Fraud Dept." I checked, it isn't. So I suspect the number is to the third-level scam master.

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do.
