I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam

Explained that cost of equipment was £399 and reference RP54R4 would give 50% discount, installation being free. Explained that visit was no obligation . A man claiming to be from office of fair trading called saying I had £ 5000 cheque from ppi which they had claimed for me and I had to buy a £250 Ukash voucher and then the cheque would be delivered I questioned this and the caller calling himself Peter McGuire became rather frustrated I said I would look into it and he should call me back tomorrow! Only know the number because I was randomly charged ?99.99 !! Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. Saying that there was no other warning

Knew my name and address tried to persuade me to claim PPI on credit cards. They would not tell me how they got my details! and then were very aggressive by saying if i didn t do it then red star would get to keep my money!! Poor tactics!!
