they asked for my personal details. good thing my mom was beside me. my mom talked to them and threatened them to stop calling!

Fraud. Recorded voice claimed to be Amazon Prime and said I had been charged 79.99 and if that wasn't me to press 1 on my phone keypad. As Prime is actually £79 for a year, I terminated the call and blocked the number.
