Hmrc scam call. Says you'll go to jail if you don't pay. Never give bank details or payment details over the phone.
This is a scam number pretending to be from Amazon saying that my Prime membership was corrupted. I have now barred the caller.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.

Received a call at 14.27 p.m. from Barclays/Barclaycard saying that two transactions had been made this morning. One for £2000.- and another one for £700.-plus. If I agree to this transaction press one, if I want to speak to someone press two. I pressed two. Then there was a pause and after a while the person with an American accent said good buy.

My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600. Fraud Automated voice claiming to be HMRC and stating there is a letter of legal action incoming, asked me to follow instructions to speak to an agent, I hung up. As far as I know HMRC wont call you for any issues, they will contact you by post only.
