They called my mobile and left a message for me to phone with meter readings (even though I sumitted them on-line in last 30 days). They get paid for each reading, without them collecting it. So my energy provider has increased costs(passed onto the customer) to receive something they already have. I ll save costs for me and my provider by submitting on-line.

This number rang at 11.48 this morning. Recorded message (male) purporting to be from BT about suspicious activity on my internet account which was going to be disconnected. I have had these calls before so I just disconnected and blocked the number. Last week I had an unsolicited call from a different number, again a recorded message about something to do with grants for insulation etc. My number is obviously in the hands of yet another group of scammers so expecting a few more!

Someone called me from this number and asked me if I was "my own name". I stupidly confirmed it and then confirmed my email address. They started telling me about an iPad that I had won. <> <> <>
Then followed a lot of swearing on my part before they hung up.
Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.

Do not trust them, ask them to take your name off the list as I did. Received a text msg today from 80870 asking what do I think about my recent experience of their Outpatients Department service at my Hospital, which I won't mention. Well, as I am visiting my Hospital for treatment at the moment and from what I read from other reviewers here, it does seem to be genuine and Free. But if it is, why on earth are they using a premium number? It puts lot of peaople off! Therefore, for that reason I did not reply to it, hence a Neutral Review.
