SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. This is an absolute scam, do NOT call or press 1.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. If you don t the problem of nuisance calls will get worse. You can then call the initial seller and ask to be removed from the main database. Pinpoint (Call Solutions) Ltd. Just got a call from this number. The caller siad he was from the Call Blocking Service and claimed that they will stop the nuiscance calls you receive - for just ?40! I heard of this kind of scam before and ironically enough I m already registered with TPS - which is free, by the way. It s clearly a scam since these kind of services are usually free and don t require your credit card information.
Claimed to be from The Pensions Service and said he had details that my pension had not be reviewed for the past 6 months. I asked him how he would have this information and surprise - surprise the phone went dead.
Claimed to be from a bank, unusual expensive purchases made! nAmazon again! nPlease press no etc nDid not state which bank.

This is a Microsoft scammer
Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Received call at 20:38 he did not give his name just said he was from Lloyds Bank regarding a recent enquiry I made, I don’t even Bank with Lloyds anymore. He went on to ask can I spare him sometime? I told him no and this sounded like a scam to me then ended the call One other point he did not sound very professional
