This number phoned me this morning but I missed the call. As it has eight digits identical to my number, I can only assume that malicious intent is involved in some way. I have blocked the number and suggest you do so too.

SCAM Claiming to be from the electric company (did not state which one). When I asked him to remove my number from his system he replied "you are talking shit sir" My advice is to waste their time the way the waste yours.
This number is unallocated. The call was a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller. NEVER...

Lady with asian accent cold called and had details of address. Wanted to sell us boiler cover and that we were paying too much with our previous provider, could not provide us with details of who we currently have boiler cover (we dont have any which gives the game away) although played along for a while for a laugh. Claimed the company was in Crawley and called Utility Care. She hung up. Searches on internet cannot find this company, most likely a scam to get bank details.

For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.

in the details section it reads "No responsibility will be taken for the accuracy..." which is a good thing because the number entered is an ENGLISH number yet the map shows a city in a country which I presume is USA... couldnt be more wrong if you tried...

I had a text message from this number posing as Hermes for a delivery that had been missed today and it asked me to go to a link and enter name, address, date of birth - at this point I stopped as I don't see why a delivery company needs that information, and on checking further, none of my due deliveries were from Hermes - this is a scam!

Asian accent with poor English, said he was from BT and there was a fault with our internet.I told him he was lying (politely) and hung uo on him. He rang back an hour later, so I just hung up.

Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.
As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).
