SCAM Has called 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Automated message £300 spent at Amazon and £1000 bank transfer to a foreign country. Alleges to come from your bank but doesn't say which one! Press 1 to speak to bank or press 2 to speak to an advisor. I am fed up of them calling and I put the phone down or let it go to answer phone.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. As this number is listed as a number in a region of Russia I am assuming it is a scam. I do not know anyone living in Russia!
I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
