SCAM Indian chap called ‘Steve’, said he was from Virgin media and wanted to fix the fault on my internet connection. Told him I didn’t have a fault as I was connected and working on it whilst he was speaking. He put the phone down. This is the 4th call I’ve had today from this 02084 number. Very annoying as I’m with Virgin and my landline is supposed to be ex directory; I can’t even block it ????. Yet another reason for leaving them!
Recording claimed to be HMRC and that they had a fraud case against my name. (They didn t use my name). Instructed me to "press 1" or I would shortly be arrested....

SCAM, Responded to the message and was advised I had a tax rebate and that my credit card details were needed to process a refund. Sounded like a call centre in a foreign land. Simply asked him to give the first line of my address and was told: "that is against regulations" I told him to do one. There are some proper nasty tossers in this world!!
