He said he was ringing about the cover on the washing machine at (gave my address), he said it had expired and he just wanted to check if the machine was still in good working order. Pension review - The welsh accented caller advised that I hadn t had a pension review recently . She knew my name. I advised her that I hadn t opted in for these sort of calls, and besides she was obviously lying about the state of my pension. She told me I HAD opted in as she knew this ! I asked her where she obtained my details and she told me from a company called Digital Marketing . I then asked her the name of HER company so I could issue a formal complaint, at which point she hung up.

Fraud mobile phone contract. When i said no thr indian chap called me and f'in a.hole. of course I replied telling him what he was.
This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.

Received a call at 8.00am stating it was Michael calling from Microsoft Security about my computer. Microsoft Security team DO NOT ever call customers about their computers. This is a total SCAM and needs to be stopped.

This a an alarm monitoring company, I had 4 calls between 2.30 and 3.00 am but didn t hear the phone downstairs, got to work to find alarm had triggered during the night due to a sensor fault.
SCAM / SPAM I suspect a scammers phoned me claiming there is a tax fraud under my name. Telling me to press 1 and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly. Of course I just hung up, no fraud office, tax or otherwise would conduct itself in this manner.

Called me today. I ignored because I suspected a scam. Having now read previous comments, I will block the number.
Fraud. Automated message claiming that an unauthorised payment of £600 has been sent overseas from my credit card. Press 1 to confirm, press 2 to 'speak to an adviser' (who would no doubt ask for my card details!). Scammer.
He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.
