Unidentified caller who knew about my recent flight and travel arrangements that I booked directly with an airline.
4 Scam. Received a text supposedly from EE saying they've given me extra points, the points will expire in 3 working days and to click the link to claim them. I clicked the link because the text looked genuine. Upon clicking the link it stated I had 5400 points. All the items were cheap looking and cost £0.1+5000points. Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.

I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!
