Automated call to say a payment of £1049 had been made to Amazon for a I Phone 11 with an order number AMZXWT????? And to press one to confirm the purchase or two to talk to someone to cancel the order.
This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..
