Was half-asleep when I answered but it was an automated voice saying something like I've been named in tax fraud and to press 1. I hung up straight away.
THIS COMPANY TRIED TO GET MY ELDERLY DADS BANK DETAILS FROM HIM OVER THE TELEPHONE CLAIMING TO BE FROM THE HOME SERVE GROUP (UNITED UTILITIES. HE HAS AN INSURANCE POLICY FOR PLUMBING REPAIRS AND THEY SAID HE WAS ENTITLED TO A LOWER POLICY DUE TO NO CLAIMS. THEY DID THIS WITH SKY AS WELL!
Not only did i ask the caller to remove me from his caller list but then the guy proceeded to verbally abuse me!!!
this number keeps calling me but never repondes to any question on who or what they are it is getting boring but they will not answer me
A recorded message telling me that I am being investigated for tax fraud and that I MUST press '1' to continue. As if I'm falling for that one!
Fraud. Scam. Indian man saying he was calling from Amazon. Thought my name was Daniel (it's not). He hung up quickly.

Called, asked for my name specifically, then hung up.
Keeps calling and gets the answer machine and ends the call. Never leaves a message and is a pestering nuisance.
SCAM
It was a call from The Donkey Sanctuary call centre. I had previously donated after watching an advert on TV re. Mono the donkey
01548859431 called and hung up and left NO MESSAGE. Another SCAM call
Called our university number as if updating contact information for a scientific magazine. Name given was Bio...something. Seemed to be a scam after they asked very personal identity questions like age and birthday for myself and the scientist listed on their "records." Hung up after this suspicious line of questioning.
