This company keep calling, maybe 3-4 times a day always asking for someone who doesn t live here but as soon as I ask to speak to supervisor or say they have a wrong number they hang up. I m close to disconnecting the landline it is such a nuisance!!

Fraud ...saying there has been a payee added to your account at LLOYDS bank. Gives a link to LLOYDS when you call the number it goes straight to the answering machine. Sent them a text saying their number was with the police and blocked them.

Purporting to be Amazon Security calling about an order for an iPhone 13. I hung up. Subsequently spoken to Amazon Customer Services and its a known scam, avoid and/or block.

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings.
