A well spoken English accent for a change from the usual child caller. They at least had the business owners name for a change but the usual failure to state their name or purpose was present, my suggestion that the owner had gone to Tunisia for the summer will, no doubt, fail to put them off their mission of calling every day for the foreseeable future.

I received a call from Motorpal today Telephone number 029 2036 4211 , they wanted me to pay £1 for vouchers to be sent then alarm bells rang so I did some checking and found this site. I have asked them to call back tomorrow as I said I did not have my card to hand lol. I will be giving the details of the caller to the fraud squad tomorrow and contacting my local MP after the general election . called where i work this morning. Really rude man on the line telling me he wants to find hidden commission in our utility bills. when i said our accountants are on with doing it he cut me off and said they wont be getting what he can get us. would hardly let me speak and when i could he corrected me every time although i was repeating what he had said. in the end he said "what a rude person" and hung up. dont answer to them it will be scam.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Keeps calling the house every few months. Keep ignoring them now, but very,very annoying. I have a trick that I am willing to try out in order to stop these calls, will let you know how it goes.
