I entered a competition online and got a comparison from GB Energy as a result. Really freindly and not pushy at all even gave me advice on my fit tariff for my solar panels even though they didnt benefit from it.
Not sure who this caller is - gives the name Amanda in her recorded message but doesn't bother calling back.

I Did not answer and they did not leave a message. I would say: suspicious!
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. When I explained that “as I am an existing customer the GDPR does not say I can’t be given my own details and they don
hung up when answering. maybe wanted me to call back on a premium rate, but just speculation
Receive up to 3 calls a day but no message is ever left. Phone doesn t ring long enough for me to have a chance to answer.
Basically was rude and ignored my requests to be removed from their records. Basically don t answer it, just block it.
