Since discovered they are called Trust money so decided to give them a taste of their own medicine and I call 0141 305 3045 and press one and then go silent when they take my call, Churlish I know but I get about 5 of these type calls a day !!!! IF we all start harassing them back maybe they will change their attitude !

Text from UPS , very plausible, informing me of an additional small charge owed for a parcel delivery - I have two parcels awaiting delivery , both small and of low value, by the post office. No coincidence I assume.
Purporting to be Amazon Security calling about an order for an iPhone 13. I hung up. Subsequently spoken to Amazon Customer Services and its a known scam, avoid and/or block.

This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

I do not answer phone numbers beginning 01202 as when checked here all have been identified as possible fraud/scam calls. By mistake I answered a call from this number yesterday which led to a man trying to discuss my recent install of roof insulation (never happened). I told the man in no uncertain terms to stop calling me and guess what happened today at 1230, same number calling again ( No didn’t answer). Apparently unable to recognise rejection of their possible fraud/scam.
