Called at 5.30 in the morning hung up when I answered

claimed to be from some kind of energy company but couldn't hear properly as music and noise in background, said was to do with the upcoming renewal. Definitely not our provider and a broker deals with our charity's contract not the admin office so call was terminated

This number is a genuine number but it has been spoofed by unscrupulous people. I called the number back and they have advised of the above and to ignore the call coming from that number. The genuine people are lovely, it’s the people using the number (spoofing it) that are the problem

Autodialler following Amazon scam phishing call from caller with American accent. Just hangs up.
Received call this morning. It rang 4 time then off. Message left supposedly from Amazon. Number shown as being from Leicester. Suspect it is a scam.

SPAM SCAM Accident SPAM COLD CALL A man called claiming to be working for "MA" (Motor Assist) regarding a car accident I'd had that had already been resolved by my insurance company. I asked where my data came from he said "UKRI" (United Kingdom Insurance Limited) about whom he gave a lengthy description. I advised him that I wished for all of the data he held about me to be erased as per GDPR and DPA's right to erasure, he seemed surprised an I told him this was because it was all false
I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. One thing to note is spammers can make their numbers look the same of a legitimate company number so b
