Called 5 times in last 3 days. No message left. Clearly a call Center because of background noise. Very irritating.
s**mBAGS using a false number! Area Code (01434) is Bellingham / Haltwhistle / Hexham in Northumberland (not exactly foreign!).
She rang to say we filled out a survey at the good food show and that we have won a holiday to florida, the only thing was that we had to pay for flights. Then we were told we had to pick up the prize in Birmingham? She gave no details as to how we were going to receive the prize, but was insistent that we go this Wednesday, but we said no, then she said the weekend then? We said we were not interested, then hung up. I thought timeshare fraud had died out?
Person claiming to be a solicitor acting for someone near me. Wanted to ask me questions. When I said I don't take cold calls, he said it wasn't a cold call!! Annoying!

SCAM Recorded message stating they're calling from the National Crime Agency regarding your NI number being used in criminal activity. IGNORE - confirmed on the NCA website these are SCAMS and they'd never call. I have reported to the phishing email on the gov.uk site.
No one should have to put up with this it frightend my mother so much that I have had to turn her phone of which I really don't want to do in case there is an emergency.
