This is being used to scam people.

Scam text advising failure to deliver a parcel with the usual “link” attached to organise redelivery

SCAM: a woman called pretending to be calling on behalf of a domestic appliances insurance. It's a lie.

They claim to be a company that blocks unwanted marketing calls then they ask for your bank card details saying they want to deposit compensation payment into your account

Fraud SCAM 07477281979 100% scammers, don't give them any info, they aren't anything to do with any tax office. They're using computer generated voices now likely to hide the fact they a ll have strong asian accents the previous time they called me.

Fraud - didn't know their own website - just asked me to goggle their name, and claimed the website I quoted, later in call i gave a different website and they also said that was correct (it wasn't !).

Rang off before I could answer the call. My phone as automatically marked it as spam.

SCAM As soon as I answered a recorded message started that two withdrawls had been made from a bank account. No name of bank, name of holder, card number etc etc. This is a scam and is the same recording as several other calls I have received.

Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

Received a scam text message from this number late at night reading: "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" I also then received another text saying "hi" from 07597207752, which I know also send the same text message above.

Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.

Claimed to be from Virgin Media and wanted me to switch my laptop on and she would talk me through resetting my router. When I questioned her she dropped the call!

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

Recorded message purporting to be from my bank saying there were two unauthorised payments on Amazon, didn’t mention the name of my bank. Scam.

This is a well known Evri Shipping Fee SCAM, which Says: EVRI: (Missed Package) Your item has a £1.45 unpaid shipping fee, please visit evri-shipping-fee.com. To reshedule a re-delivery.

SCAM O2 scam. Don't give them any details. If you receive two text messages while they are on the call just delete them. Don't give them the number contained in the second message.

SCAM Pretending to be O2, had a message about a one time passcode seconds before they called and they asked for the code.
