Said they were part of a government scheme regarding loft insulation we have installed & there were concerns it may be mouldy ( there is nothing wrong with it) but don’t panic they were offering a survey, ffree of charge of course. He was obviously reading from a script. When I started asking more questions he asked if I was the homeowner and I said no I’m their daughter & they hung up! Very suspicious to me. Warn all of your friends & family.

Landline from Manchester area - previously I have seen many numbers from this area belonging to some call centres - home and life insurance marketing mostly. I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as I can see people do search for this number on different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (016181491xx - just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume all the numbers belong to the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but
