They claimed to be from EE, and I'm not sure if he said 'my' mobile phone provider, or 'a' mobile phone provider. I am actually with EE and I know that when I get calls from them it isn't from a number in Sunderland. I challenged him on this, and he said that although when we call EE it's 150 when they call back it's from a landline. I know that's a lie as calls I receive back from EE are 0800 numbers. Told me their system was showing I had a flight delay in the last 6 years. This isnt true. I asked when the supposed flight delay was and she couldnt tell me. Was very polite but nevertheless an unsolicited nuisance call whilst I was at work.

Answered the call and was asked if I have problems with debts etc When I answered No the girl I spoke to put the phone down. I could hear lots if other people talking on a phones in a background and it sounded like a typical call centre. I advice not to trust.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1622370xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing - classical accident chasers, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Fraud - I got a call from this number saying that a money from my account was sent overseas, ask me to press 1 to speak to them otherwise my card will be lock. Logically I hang up. I called back to that number- it comes as unrecognise. My bank will never call me for that!!!

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated
This number has called constantly the past few days, always on my mobile first and when I don't answer that, they ring my landline, straight away. No message is ever left, really annoying. I've now blocked the number on both my mobile and my landline - if it's important they should have left a message, so I can only assume it's a scam or aggressive sales.
