Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Yes sometimes it's an Asian person, sometimes it's an English person - I'd love to know how you know though that they're muslim! Just because you can't call the numbeer back doesn't = scam. I received a call from this number this morning. The speaker claimed to be from Cellphone Warehouse, offering deals on new mobiles, and asking what kind of mobile I currently had. I told him that I already have enough mobiles and wasn't interested in getting more. He then hung up.

Spoke to someone who called on this number reporting they were calling from ee. Appeared to know details of my account. Offered three separate offers which I declined. Was not suspicious as the gentleman was very polite and courteous at all times, however received two further calls today. First one I answered and when I said I was at work she kept talking. 2nd u left unansweref. A bit of a nuisance so I have now blocked the number

This number 07901 823 560 rang on the 26/04/2023. It was a voice recorded message, stating, for some unknown reason, that I was immediately entitled too several hundred's of pound's. I hung up immediately, as I suspected it was a Scam phone call. Thank You for Your assistance in this matter.
