Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17845128xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with car accident, injury claims, PPI. Very suspicious call from a woman claiming to work for a company called Kandar (or Cantor)? Said she was "doing a survey on EU". I hung up and phoned back and got a voicemail saying Phone this number and leave a message. 0208 433 4056 and... Call the Market research society on 0800 975 9596 to conform Cantar is a verified market research company. Why would anybody call random mobile phone numbers to do "a survey about the EU"?

Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.
