SCAM: Phone rang and then caller, a computer, hung up when I didn't speak! Suspected computer call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will usually be logged or routed through to a sales person. You'll be called back later by some sales dude. They're usually trying to flog or get you to sign up for house insulation or some scam survey based on a government scheme. They're usually quick to say they're not selling, simply enquiring; surveying; etc.
This is a Philippines fraud so far my knowledge guess. They track Indian girls saying he is cargo ship captain and going to marry her out of love. Bought few Jewellery and posted. Sent me a weird message asking for information, under the disguise of a being an old friend. I checked this website, this number was located in Russia (despite being a UK number). Very odd.

SCAM 01482680047 pretending to be from the police to gather feedback and follow up an incident that had happened, this case was closed weeks ago so I knew this was a scam straight away. Looks as though the scammers have accessed the police database. They started the call with saying the call was recorded and I needed to consent to GDPR.

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.
