They left a threatenig message so I called them back. They answered saying they were an IRS Agent so I asked them whom do they want to talk to and they gave an incorrect name so I told them that they then hung up.

I had a call from this number, they knew my full name and informed me that according to their records I had been in touch with my insurance company regarding some damage on my car recently and/or over the past three years. I haven't so this is clearly a scam!

I have never heard of this organisation. The caller asked for me by name; however seemed to be "fishing" for information about my pension arrangements. If you want advice the government has set up the National Pensions Advisory Service.
kept asking if i have had an accident. Told them to remove my number from their call list, but she kept asking can i confirm, i said i cant confirm and she put the phone down.
As other comments got 10-15 calls in space of thirty minutes. Strung them along for a while but then got bored. Screamed down phone but they still called back. Absolute nightmare.
