Cold call. I checked with my supplier Welsh Water who confirmed it was a genuine marketing call. I recommended to Welsh Water that their website should state that Accent make calls on their behalf. I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. Very plausible voice offering a solution to my scam calls by issuing a Section 70 order against the purps for just £3 a month for 5 years after which their service would be free. At best this is too good to be true.

I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).
