I just had a call from her saying she s from Hackney Council.

Be careful it is a scam! They say that they are from Scottish Power but after the call I called my energy supplier and the operator said me that this is a fake number

Number has called 4 times in a week, they always hang up. Lots of noise in the background so clearly a call centre with nothing useful for me. I see this as harassment calling as they never bother to talk !

01227809119 called twice - claiming to be Domestic & General and that my washing machine warranty was expiring - total rubbish. They repeated fake details that I gave to some Indian data harvesting scam years ago. Nothing but scammers trying to find vulnerable people to prey on.

I want to find out who this number is: 020 3595 2990 - they have called me and i missed the call.

They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Had a call from this number - I never speak, so the phone was put down without the caller speaking. However, I am registered with TPS. Looking at the comments, it seems to me that the caller has been "identified" in many different ways. I can only assume that it must originate from criminal sources.

I keep receiving calls from this number about PPI. I told them I do not have a ppi claim and to remove me from their caller list. Since then I have received 2 calls a day.

This guy told me he was calling from "O2 Get Connected" I now know that there is no such thing as "O2 Get Connected" he asked me a security question which I failed to answer, I the confronted him about it later on then HE read out MY postcode for me!
