I have been sent texts saying my account is in arrears and need to ring this number to make a payment. The most recent says they are going to take legal action if they do not receive a payment soon. They are supposed to be from Simply Be or Fashion World calalogue. I contacted both of these companies and they do not send texts and apart from that I don t owe either of them any money. There is no other way to contact them apart from this number- which I am NOT going to do

Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed UK number which will be a very expensive call.

Call from Micro Technical - Asian lady, wantingd to talk to the main user of computer. Asked why? She did not have a name and got agitated when I wouldn t give her any info. When I asked where she got our number from, she said this is the number we registered our computer on. Told her that wasn t true and asked her to give me the computer IP number after several minutes of requesting this - she hung up.

I had the same problem, I kept phoning and this morning I was told the money would be in my account on the 1609 A couple of hours later the money was back in my account. Take note of the name of the person you spoke to and ask for everything discussed is put into an email. That s what I did. Good luck.

Got the same call like everyone else. As a trained insurance expert with 25 years experience, I asked them for the date of the accident (having not had an accident in the last 10 years) but they didn t know. I asked which company they were calling from and they said they were calling as they were my insurers. I asked them the name of the insurers and they hung up. I am sick and tired of dealing with claims brought by ambulance chasers such as this. Compensation culture at its finest.

I think the chap said he was calling from Instant Law and was calling about the "not your fault accident claim" in January of lat year. I said he had the wrong number to which he said it might be to do with a window replacement claim. He could not give me a car registration or the name of an insurance company so I told him I couldn't help him. He hung up.
