SCAM some lady purported to be from Amazon phoned about my Prime Ac with the option to pay or cancel the membership and asked to press 1 to cancel or speak to customer service.. i saw it was a mobile number so it had to be fake and I told them i would do it online i tried to call back to find out who they are but they do not answer the phone i called amazon and they confirmed it was a scam

They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. Woman said " This is your Bank security, we have had 2 charges made to your card, One for £300 and one for £1,100 to companies you have not used before. Press 1 if you did not authorise these ! The number 0731519223 rang me at 6.30pm Australian time & the caller used some very nasty language ie "You are nothing but a f-----g c--t" over & over numerous times. This s not acceptable in this day & age. I am male & I am so glad my wife didn't answer the phone & be subjected to such filth.

Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.

Tried to say they were from a solicitor and were ringing me cos I was irresponsible in loans.They rang over 10 times yesterday and kept hanging up when I answered.Today they said this.I laughed and told them they were ridiculous.
