Asked to speak to person dealing with BT accounts. Would not send details by email, said it had to be done over the phone for call monitoring purposes. When quizzed, he said he did not work for BT but One Com who deal with Open Reach customers. Sounds like a marketing call to me so won't be getting a call back

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1612497xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, PPI, insurance claims, loans. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

I let him talk for a bit before asking for his company's Financial Conduct Authority registration number at which point he got very nervous and said "once you have agreed to go ahead, we have people that can provide you with information." Number has been harassing me all day, did a Facebook search of the number found it a man called Yasir Osman, the whatsapp photo confirms this is him. His Facebook also says he works at sennar.
Called this number back and was told they were the aftercare team. He refused to say which company he was with and said it would be related to an incident in the last three months. Told him I did not have any incidents to deal with and he hung up!
